I returned this morning (around 1am) from New Orleans. I am so excited!!!
Canon had their first National Reseller Meeting and they introduced their newest scanner...the DR-X10C. WOW! It is an INCREDIBLE scanner. Scanning 8.5x11 in portrait gives you 100 pages per minute (that's 200 images per minute) at 100 OR 600 DPI and in B&W or COLOR!!! High quality scans without losing speed!

Scan 8.5x11 in LANDSCAPE and you get 128 pages per minute...that's 256 images per minute!!! No matter what dpi selected! B&W or Color! That's FAST.

This scanner has a 3-step dust prevention method! This scanner blows air across the glass, wipes the glass, and can move the entire image sensor to find a clear path on the scanner glass. How cool is that?
